Housley Physical Therapy welcomed a new therapist to the clinic this summer.
Henry Housley, DPT, joined the practice full time in mid-May. After passing the National Physical Therapy Examination, he is licensed to practice in the State of Arkansas.
Henry is the son of Larry and Susan Housley of Chimes, AR. He is a 2014 graduate of Marshall High School and attended the University of Central Arkansas where he received a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare and Behavioral Science with Physical Therapy emphasis in the Spring of 2018. Henry attended Harding University’s Doctorate program in Physical Therapy, graduating in May 2021. Henry is certified in LSVT BIG which is a treatment regimen that provides specific treatment for patients with Parkinson’s disease.
To provide continued excellence in care for our community, Henry plans to obtain additional physical therapy certifications in the future and brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice. He will provide a variety of treatment options for the patients he serves. Henry is excited to join his mother, Susan Housley, in serving the people of Searcy County.
“I am very humbled and blessed to serve the community of Searcy County. I think it’s important to get involved and give back to the community that helped shape me as an individual. I pray that God will guide me in my practice, and that I will be able to have a positive impact on patients and their families during a challenging time in their lives.â€Â
In Henry’ spare time, he loves to spend time with his wife, Leila, and their newborn daughter, Harlin Grace. He also enjoys hunting, golfing, basketball and any type of Razorback sports.
Housley Physical Therapy is currently planning an Open House in mid-October to celebrate the practice’s 25th Anniversary and to welcome Henry back.
