James Everett Cagle, age 78, died peacefully August 19, 2021 surrounded by family. He was a loved member of the community and a strong presence in his family. Born February 22, 1942 in Walnut Ridge, AR; He spent his life farming, tinkering, and fixing anything brought to him. He became an accomplished business owner, owning multiple shops and a family run trucking company in his life. His memory will be cherished and honored by is family and friends. Survivors include his children; Becky, Debbie (James), Tony (Heather), and Lisa (Randy); his grandchildren, Charley, Dustin, Ciara, Colby, Dakota, Garret, Brian, Jamie, Colton, Chylynn, and Jessie; and his eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Clara (Larry) Fortenberry, and Patricia (Darrell) Nichols; brother, Billy D. (Sue Ann) Cagle; Also by one very spoiled Chiweenie, Cha-chi; who will miss their daily trip to the store to buy chicken strips. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Joyce Laverne Cagle, and his parents, Charley and Mable Cagle. Graveside service was Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Austin Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Cox officiating.
